the title??

perspiration" either had to be Einstein or a fine musician.

I believe the musical Einstein was Alfred, rather than Albert, and he is
perhaps best known for a book on Mozart.

Albert did play the violin, but I think his skill level was "amateur".

The "Success is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration" quotation is, I believe,
from Thomas Edison, and had to do with scientific discovery, rather than
music. Don't take this as definitive - I can't find my copy of, "Bartlett's
Quotations"!
