I have thought that it would be very interesting to know something
about people on the list, i.e. musical experience, career, anything else
that one would like to share. I will begin:

My name is Deborah Shaw and I recieved my Bachelors Degree in Music at
California State University, Long Beach in 1978 where I studied with
David Atkins. Since then I have taught junior high band and private
lessons and performed with various groups including the Fullerton
Symphony and the Professional Christian Wind Ensemble. 3 years ago I
relocated to Northwest Arkansas (a choice for the benefit of my
children) where I have made a career of teaching private lessons (35)
and directing the Orchestra at First Baptist Church of Rogers, Arkansas.
This Fall I will finally begin my Masters program at the University
of Arkansas where I have gotten a Graduate Assistantship. I'll see
where life takes me after that!

I would love to hear about other on the list. Hope that many will
share!
