Following along on the thread of early clarinet playing,
there is a book by Albert Rice called "The Baroque Clarinet".
The copyright date is 1992 and its ISBN is 0-19-816188-3.

It is number 13 in "Early Music Series".

According to the cover notes, Mr. Rice, at the time
of writing was curator of the Fiske Museum of Musical
Instruments, Claremont Colleges, California.

The book discusses clarinet playing in the early 18th century,
techniques for playing 2 and 3 key clarinets and music of
the time for clarinet, and use of the instrument.
It has a detailed (12 page) bibliography.
