Come now. I quoted roughly half of your posting, and the remainder was
obviously irrelevant to the issue. Maybe in some earlier posting you said
something that should have alerted me to your meaning, but it sure escaped
me if you did.

In any event, where in Mozart's Concerto is the same music repeated FIVE
TIMES in ten minutes? As far as I recall without checking the score, the
only possible candidate is the rondo theme -- and I really wonder whether
it is appropriate to improvise on that.

Dan, if you read this, is it appropriate to improvise on that theme, and if
so, where and how? It already has a lot of notes, and goes at a pretty
fast clip, so it is unclear to me how you'd do this. TIA for your answer.

the reasonable conjuncture from my statements which you failed to quote.

In any event, what does Mozart want? I think he wants improvisation...
