I have heard at least a dozen or more recordings of K622 and except for a
fill in
at one pause in the first movement and a cadenza in the Adagio movement
I haven't noticed any improvisation in any of these performances. The most
ornamented performance of can recall is Stoltzman's and I don't consider his
approach improvisation. Could someone please suggest a recording of this
work that would exemplify improvisation as it was done during the classical
period. I think we need some concrete examples of what we're talking about.
