Pamela Weston's edition of K622 recently published is a very useful starting
point for thinking about ornamenting it (see Pamela's recent article in The
Clarinet). Useful because based on a source within a decade or so of
Mozart's death. I'm sure few people will want to play everything she prints;
some of it is obviously only relevant to adapting the piece for a piano
which cannot sound so expressive on a long note as we can. But definitely
worth thinking about. Nick
