Neil,
I agree with Michael. I heard Linda Bartley do the Tower concerto with the
Madison Symphony (a really terrific performance) and I can't imagine it
working well with a piano reduction. I have the piano reduction, but I
think it's main use would be for study.

That's a little difficult to say. It's about 18 minutes worth of all the
technique you can handle. It's not the most enjoyable piece for the
audience unless it's heard with an orchestra. The piano reduction, as
usual, doesn't do it much justice. From the sounds of things this wouldn't
be the type of piece you're looking for.

Thanks for that. Would this be a good piece to do on a recital
program along with Weber Duo Concertant and the Strauss Duet Concertino
for Clarinet and Bassoon? I'm searching for an enjoyable piece
written post-WWII to put on my recital along with the two afore-
mentioned staples of the repertoire..
