Which Mozart museum are we talking about? Do you mean the small house
where he was born? Or do you mean the large apartment that his dad rented
about a mile away? Or maybe you're talking about the Mozarteum
Foundation building where the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg performs
(and where vocalists from the Mozarteum Hochschule fuer Musik practice)?
I took a vagabond trip to Germany and Austria last year, making sure
to grab a train to Salzburg for a couple of days, and I don't remember
seeing the clarinet concerto manuscript when visiting those buildings.
Was it in one of the horizontal display cases as visitors walked through his
birth house?
