I'd like to have a lip cushion made also , but I asked my dentist, and the material that he would use seemed way too thick. What did your dentist use, and how thick is the resulting cushion?

Thanks.

Larry: I recently decided to have my dentist make a lip cushion for me.
He made a mold of my bottom teeth and I came back a week later for
adjustment. Since my bottom teeth are not even, the lip cushion has been
great. Since I also play classical flute & picc, the lip cushion really
helps to preserve my flute chops in a doubling situation.
