Subj: "really old" Buffet A clarinet

I have a "really old" Buffet A clarinet, but I believe it is pre-R13
vintage. The serial number is appears to be 4J41, and it is marked only
on the lower joint. It was imported by Carl Fischer, and has both the
wrap-around register key and a ring-with-pad ring key for the 3rd finger
left hand (C/G tone hole). It's also marked as LP, ie. low pitch, have
been assuming it was made after the change up from A438 in the late
thirties. It needs a pad job and some adjustment, and the silver
plating is pretty worn, but is in very good shape otherwise. Anybody
have any guesses as to its age? Sneezy doesn't deal with A Clarinets.
