i need to ask you a question? is your mouthpiece med. closed, open or
what? you might want to try some other bays with a more open tip and
becareful for bays tend to warp causing all sorts of problems with the
mouthpiece. i played a bay for 10 years before i realized there were
better( ok, so i am alittle slow) all joking aside! try other mouthpieces
if you are finding yourself playing #12 reeds. on the other hand, i do
know a few clarinet players who play #5 reeds with bays and are very
pleased. sometimes change is all you need, but try not to get yourself all
upset or crazy over this issue. take your time. there is never a quick
fix. let me know how you are doing.
