Frank, if the mouthpiece plays fine for you as it is leave it alone. I have
been refacing mouthpieces for 15 years. "Dressing" the tip of a mouthpiece
to get rid of slight nicks or other imperfections MAY change the way it
responds. It doesn't always, but I don't think I would take the chance.
