Dear Klarineters:
I having played many gig with this ombo, can name at least a few off the top
of my head (write back if you want to include fl, Cl + piano, the most
notable of these being the Saint Saens Tarantella.
For transcpitions there is an orange book of Haydn, Handel and Bach
Inventions. And of course the Voxman Ed. of the Mozart Sonata for two
violins. For Modern we have the A. Szlowski Sonatina (Good Piece) E. Carter E
spirit Deux, the John Rutter American Fanfares (v good piece, esp for
audiences), Robert Russel Bennett Dances (or Duos I forget), and of course
the Choros No 2 (or is it 3) by H. Villa-Lobos. There is also a duet by Ernst
Krenek and Eugene Bozza. (Who said there wasn't music? ? Also try the
Library of Congress online.
Good Luck P Helton
