In the first beginning band class I attended during my 6th grade year I was
the one that everyone laughed at because I asked, "What's a reed?" Now I'm
in high school and I'm the one the other musicians ask when they need
something. The other clarinetists especially seem to look up to me as the
one with the answers. If I didn't ask any questions then, I wouldn't have
any answers now. Asking questions has gotten me pretty far and I'm sure many
others as well. Ironically, I love helping people with music so much that
I've decided to become a band director. That's the main reason I *love* this
list. You people out on Klarinet are amazing and I thank you for all the
knowledge you help me obtain. Cheers!
