Everyone learns of a composition for the first time -- even you, Fred.

Just because you and I and the man-in-the-moon know of the Schubert doesn't
mean everybody does...and I bet that someone will discover it for the first
time tomorrow, too!

Get ready for another "Dan Leeson" all:
Gary, You've got to be kidding. This is probably the second most popular
piece of chamber music in the clarinet repertoire. (I suspect the Kegelstadt
(sp?) Trio is the first). Have you even bothered to go to a music store? I
mean, there are probably thousands of them in the US. Not to mention all the
mail-order outlets. This speaks to what I posted about previously. I can
understand asking the list (as I have in the past) about obscure or
out-of-print music which noone seems to have or be able to get. However,
asking
this list about where to get the "Shepherd" is like asking a Computer list
where to buy a modem. 'Nuff said, I think, before I REALLY hurt someone's
feelings.
