I agree with Mr. Shaw. I do not play a clarinet, but AnnaMae, my 14 year
old
daughter, plays in a small high school band. I screen most of the list.
If
I find something that I thank that she will like I copy it for her. Now
that school is out, she will be reading the list herself. We find some of
the stuff on the list a little above our heads, but we also find stuff that
she can use. I have learned a lot just by reading the list. I don't
believe there is such a thing as easy question if you don't know the
answer. AnnaMae will be trying to learn to play the Oboe this summer
because the band does not have an oboe player. The band director said that
she would have to teacher herself, so she can use all the help she can get.
She is a very good clarinet player.
