I have a copy of this book that I purchased for a class in musical
criticism and it has provided many hours of fun reading. It is a book of
criticisms of major compsers from early ones (like Bach) to more recent
ones. There are some pretty incredible slams on pretty major composers
that "everybody" knows and loves now. I highly recommend it.
