I do not know these mpc facings but I have a Vandoren Deutschland VD4
mpc and this plays great with Vandoren 2 1/2 whitemaster ("German cut")
reeds. The tip opening is about 1.02 mm, but this means very little in
itself because the baffle shape makes it behave more "open". In fact it
is the most open of this vandoren series, and takes the softest reed. I
suspect the Wurlitzer and Zinner mpcs may have a similar design.
