Steve,
As a rule, NEVER pay what a pawn shop asks for anything. Usually
you can talk them down to at least 60% of their asking price. The Edgeware
was an entry-level clarinet. As such, it has all the tuning and regulation
problems one would associate with one. However, I believe it wouldn't be
WORSE than a Bundy and would at least have better tone, being wood. It is
not worth more than one would pay for a used Bundy, however. So I wouldn't
pay more than $100 for it if it were in excellent playing condition. In
not-so good condition, lots less.
