Subj: I need help for Midi Setup for Clarinet playing

I am interested in getting my computer system setup with midi
capabilities for playing and practicing clarinet. I have a 100 pentium
with a soundblaster 16.

I would like any opinions to the best sound card (Yamaha DB50 or SW60,
etc.) software, and speakers, which would enable me to record myself
playing clarinet and piano, and to use and modify downloaded prerecorded
midi files to play along with.

I know this is collateral to the topic of this list. But I'm hopelessly
