There is a question about David Bennett on the bulletin board on sneezy.
Since it may not get much response, and I am also curious, I will ask again
here. He wrote some interesting clarinet quartets (and other music,
although I haven't played any of it). Does anyone know anything about him?
There are no dates in his listing on sneezy (I probably submitted both
entries myself).

I recently purchased another clarinet quartet, Argentine. It is copyright
1939. His picture is on it and I would guess that it is of a man in his
40s. The picture may not date from 1939. His music is published by Carl
Fischer.
