I wouldn't get too excited. As an ex director, I look back and find that
most of that type of "action" by any director is not necessary.
Most...not all, but most problems that exist in band program weakness
lies in the short-comings of the director. NOT in the students. Lottsa
directors forget that their "gig" is to teach music, Later
