I'm playing an old wooden student clarinet that I just got overhauled a
few
months ago. I've noticed that B'-Eb' sound very flat, something I didn't
notice about it years ago. I don't know whether it's because something
has changed with the clarinet, or whether my listening has become more
discriminating - I suspect some of both. Anyway, this discussion
inspired me to swap bells with an old junker clarinet I have, and it
worked, these notes now play in tune!
