The Woodwind catalog carries barrels in a variety of lengths.

OPINION:

Plastic clarinets are designed for beginning students, mostly children.
Beginners, especially children, have very weak embouchers and breath
support. It is my experience that clarinets intended for this market
are built sharp for this reason. An adult will have a very tough time
keeping it down in pitch.
