While I'm not going to yell, I will say that I disagree about Goodman's
Copland being great. His jazz is great, but of all the recordings I've
heard of the Copland, his is by far the worst. I know that Copland
didn't actually view his concerto as being "jazzy", but certainly it
should not be the way Goodman plays it, which is, as we used to
say in jazz band, very "ricky-ticky." The first time I heard it, I
screamed at the CD player "What have you DONE to my favorite
concerto!" My family thought I had snapped. Maybe they were right. :)

Boy, first that quintet thing, now this. I'm just opinionated today, aren't I?
Must be the stress of finals...
