And why would you be embarassed to tell us this? It would appear
from the other postings that many fine players think this to be
true. Is there any reason to be ashamed of enjoying Benny
Goodman, either as an artist of incompable skill in his specific
area of specialty, or, from the viewpoint of influence on the
repertoire?
