Although different bells do give a different sound on a particular
clarinet make sure this difference is due to the dimensions of the
bell and not the result of a better seal with the joint cork.

Sometimes rotating the bell on a clarinet to a certain position
gives a preferred sound . Is this the result of a better seal,
better alignment or some combination of the two?
