Your right it is a great idea... too bad my university killed our physics
of musical sound class by not offering it as liberal studies, and removing
it from the music industry major (it never was a requirement for the other
music majors). Of course my university also disolved the physics department
for a year or two, but I digress. For those of you go to universities that
offer classes like this take them, not only to understand your instrument
but also how sound reinforcement and recording works on a mechanical level.
We had a pretty good text for the class. I don't have it handy right now
but anyone that would like to get the book, I will get it's title and
publisher and send that information to you.
