Your recommendations sound good to me. You might consider adding
the excerpts from Capriccio Espagnol and the Midsummer Night's
Dream Scherzo. These, along with Firebird Suite and Daphnis et Chloe
No. 2 excerpts (which are probably a bit heavy), seem to be standard
audition material for most professional orchestras. I realize this is
college, but for Julliard et. al. it couldn't hurt to prepare in the same
manner as one would for a professional audition. That's my $.02.
