I have a very serious high school student who is looking into colleges for
next year (fall 98). I believe she is capable of the best schools the US
has to offer. What lit. is recommended in preparation for entrance into
Eastman, Curtis, Julliard, NEC, etc. (forgive me if I left another great
school out)? I have recommended Poulenc, Weber and Mozart Concertos,
Stravinsky 3 Pieces, excerpts (Beethoven, Brahms), for studies this summer.
Any other recommendations? TIA
