Hi Kathi -
a good book for chromatic exercices (among other things) is the Stievenard
"Practical Study of the Scales". It has a two-page spread for each key,
with one chromatic in each key. There are all sorts of rhythmic and melodic
patterns, and it forces you to read all the notes in different keys (some
of them get pretty ugly with double sharps). I assume the book is still
available - mine is a Schirmer edition, no 1632.
