The best person to contact is Dr. Alice Brandfonbrenner at Northwest
Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She is a world-reknown specialist in Medical
Treatment for the Performing Artist. I have had two students with severe
wrist problems work with her, and they have both returned to clarinet
playing without any surgical treatment. She has worked with a number of
other musicians I know and they have had the same results with her help.
