The best way to deal with a musty odor in a case is 1st to set it in the
sun. This will help kill the mold spores. Stuff the case (loosely) with
crumpled newspaper. Replace the paper daily until the smell is gone. If the
case is really fuzzy with mold, you might just have to pitch it like
Christopher (?) suggests.
