The G# key on saxophone is considered an a "articulated G#." The oboe also
has an articulated G#. It facilitates G# to F or F# trills on clarinet. It
consists of a lever/key mechanism on the left side and an arm off the lower
ring key (rt. hand) that extends over the C#/G# pad cup (often has a
regulation screw).
