Dear Klarinets,
What kind of reed is the student using? Some reeds are treated-I think.
Oliver's seem to have something on them.. In addition to having the students
play on the lip only, have her sand her reeds for smoothness, perhaps its the
rough can that's doing it. Otherwise try changing brands and sand with 600
sandpaper.
