I have passed on some of the concerns of the list about the survey to Dr.
Kris Chesky, Research Assistant Professor at UNT, who is sponsoring the
project. He writes:

"The problem is that the survey does not like to run on older versions
of
windows based PCs. It works fine on Macs or PCs with windows 95. It
might help to encourage folks to use an updated computer if possible. We
do plan on rebooting the survey soon with some new software that we just
got - it should take care of the problem."

I hope someone will explain to the professor the difference between
computer hardware and an operating system. One would think that running a
recent version of netscape would be sufficient.
