I'm curious. How many of you clarinet playing cyber-dudes and dudettes play
clarinets with extra keys. I had to rebuild the left hand Eb/Ab mechanism
on a symphony player's Buffet last week, and I started thinking about the
other insturments I've worked on with extra keys. About 15 years ago I
worked on a Leblanc LL that had a double octave key on it. It was the first
soprano clarinet I have seen with one of those. Occasionally, I see a
soprano with the articualted G# key.
