To all clarinet players:

Researchers at the University of North Texas are seeking clarinetists and
other interested musicians to take part in a Musician's Health Survey.
This anonymous survey is open to performers of all skill levels--beginner
through professional--and seeks information about the physical and
psychological problems of the performing community. For convenience, the
survey is based on the world wide web at
http://www.scs.unt.edu/surveys/msurvey/index.html.

This announcement has been posted to Klarinet before, but unfortunately,
response has been slow. In the coming months, the information submitted
by clarinetists will be isolated and analyzed and will be used in the
development of appropriate education, prevention, and treatment
strategies. Responses from doublers (clarinet, bass clarinet, and/or
other woodwinds) are especially solicited.

The survey only takes about ten minutes to fill out and is completely
anonymous. All klarinet subscribers are invited and encouraged to
participate. In addition, please pass this information on to other
interested individuals (students, teachers, colleagues, etc.)

Thanks in advance for your help,

Michael Thrasher
