<**you are important to the band. maybe you haven't played any music that
has featured the woodwind section. are there ONLY 4? also, you need to
make sure that everyone is playing on super soft LOUD reeds. in the green
brigade at UNT, we clarinets have parties (making marching band
enjoyable). by the way, who cares what anyone else thinks of the
clarinets? sorry, now I'M jumping around subject-wise. :-)

your band director needs to get some clarinetists to come. he needs to
search the high schools and find some seniors. i think here at UNT,
there are a lot of people in marching band because music education majors
are required to take 3 semesters of marching band. also, mr. fisher
promotes marching band, and invites non-music majors to be a part as well.
