David,
It was manufactured by Martin Freres (can't do French accent
marks on this program) in Paris. This company went out of business, I
believe, in the '60's or 70's. Their student haorns are quite common and
I have always been favorably impressed with them when I run across a
student playing one. I have one which I rescued
from a pawn shop and have repadded. I think the LaMonte brand was their
better brand, tho I'm not sure. Anyone?
