I just re-checked our library's on-line catalogue; it too lists a date of
birth only (1905). However, I was formatting someone's recital program
the other day when I thought I noticed a death date of 1992. The most
reliable source for composer dates is the Schwann Opus catalogue (which
you probably already know). So now I'm wondering too!!
