The Sneezy FAQ

This FAQ will be posted on a random basis, hopefully not longer than
2 weeks between issues.

April 25, 1997

1) What is Sneezy?
Sneezy is a DEC 3000/600 computer sitting near Detroit, Michigan,
USA, dedicated to the dissemination of clarinet information. Its
real name is sneezy.mika.com [206.250.250.18]

2) Why is it called Sneezy?
Its predecessor was one of our first computers, which were named
after the 7 dwarfs from Sleeping Beauty. I had sneezy, which was at
least better than dopey. Since Victor Freyer's original Clarinet
FAQ was moved onto the old machine and people got used to the
name, I decided to keep it around for hysterical reasons.

3) I don't have an Internet account - can I use Sneezy?
There are a number of e-mail services that will return Web pages
to you. Will someone who iuses those services please e-mail me
so I can include them? You can access the databases on sneezy
via waisq@-----.

4) Does Sneezy run the Klarinet list?
NO, no, a thousand times no! Sneezy has a collection of Klarinet
articles posted over the years and a search engine, along with
Web pages created from some of the very interesting postings.
However, I and Sneezy have no official status as regards Klarinet.
I have been known to help out with questions about the the list on
occasion.
