I hoped by now someone who really knew the story would have responded. All
I can do is report that the liner notes for Blues for Sabine say that the
publisher is Schott's Sohne (with an umlaut). This is in the publisher
listing, surprisingly the "notes" don't say a work about this piece.

My Dorn Publications' saxophone catalog has this quartet listed. Their
clarinet catalog does not.

Hi! I am a new one on KLARINET.My name is Diego Baroni and I'm an
italian clarinet and bass clarinet player. I would like to know if
anyone can tell me something about JEAN FRANCAIX's CLARINET QUARTET (2
clarinet, bassethorn and bass cl.).I know that exist a recording by
Eddie Daniels and Sabine Meyer's Trio,and I know that the quartet is
the
same of the one for Saxophones, but which one is the original? And who
is the publisher?
