The plastic Yamaha is the best in tune of the "standard models"( the
YCL-280), I tried a large number a of Ebs of many varieties and found that
the Bundys were nearly unplayable, in fact the Yamaha was the ONLY good
plastic one I tried. It was also far superior in tone and intonation to
most of the wooden models (several Buffets and Selmers too) I tried. The
issue of plastic clarinets is not the material, but the level of
craftsmanship and quality control in the manufacture of the instruments. I
found the Yamaha to be of a high level of quality and recommend it to you.
Woodwind and Brasswind had them in stock, but they weren't listed in their
catalog.

Does anyone have any experience on plastic E-flat's?
