Last June, Terry Oxley put me onto the Detroit Concert Band in Scottsdale,
Arizona as a possible source for the Polonaise from Mignon for solo clarinet
and concert band which I first heard as a budding 7th grade clarinet player
in 1952 performed by the solo clarinet player of the high school concert
band.

This afternoon the Boosey & Hawkes score, full band parts, and solo clarinet
part arrived by UPS from Arizona. The parts include concert flute & piccolo,
Db flute & piccolo, 1st and 2nd bassoon or bass clarinets (in bass clef!),
and solo, *repieno*, 2nd, and 3rd clarinet, horns in Eb, plus the rest of the
band.

I'm assuming "repieno" is the equivalent of 1st clarinet, but what's the
actual translation.

Thanks!
