I also play on a Selmer Eb clarinet. It is an older model but plays very
well in tune. I use a DEG barrel on it so I can play sharp enough. I
play Eb in the Wind Ensemble at my college. I've heard that Buffet RC's
are also good Eb clarinets. I've been quite happy with my selmer. I play
on a Vandoren 2RV mouthpiece, or a Zinner, mostly the Vandoren. I have
hardly any intonation problems except getting sharp enough to be in tune
with the piccolo! That can be a challenge!

Good luck. Hope you find a good instrument.
