My kids' teacher (who also plays 1st clarinet and Eb in my clarinet
quartet) recently bought a used Selmer Eb. I don't recall how old it is but
I think it is a least 15 years old. It really sounds great and she can play
it in tune.

The only problem is the tuning barrel. It came with one of those accu-bore
barrels with the "cooling fins." She purchased a regular Selmer barrel for
it but it turned out to be too long. (Now she knows why it had the other
barrel.)

I don't know how much she paid for it but I assume it was no more than a
third the cost of a new Buffet.
