I'm looking for information for a program note on this work.
Unfortunately I'm in a bit of a pinch time-wise. . .so any quick replies
would be a big help!

If all the other Weber pieces were written for Baermann except the Grand
Duo, then for whom did Weber write this? Does anyone know anything
trivial about the piece--premiere, type of clarinet played for premiere, etc.

Any ideas as to why Weber would write a work not for Baermann with their
contact. . .it isn't like this was the first or last work that Weber
wrote for him. . .
