I have that edition of op 115--but I remember reading somewhere that
Muhlfeld was reported to have used his Bb at some point in performance
of the quintet. I will search and perhaps find the reference. I am
trying to think where it would be of use--and no I do not use two clarinets
in performing the quintet of Brahms. Just a random thought--and did not
want to get the "right" clarinet thread started up again.
