While not chamber music--the C. V. Stanford concerto for clarinet and
orchestra uses both the Bb and the A clarinet. One movement on A and
the other on Bb. I also remember reading that Muhlfeld used the Bb
instrument for part of the Opus 115 quintet--anyone else remember having
read that about the Brahms quintet?
